OverviewWe are seeking dedicated and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cooks to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, contributing to the preparation of dishes in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be respectful, punctual, able to follow simple kitchen procedures, and have the ability to work collaboratively within a team.DutiesPrepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping/slicing vegetables, portioning foods, and measuring spices.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including proper food storage and sanitation practices.Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including fryers, grill, slicer, knives and other culinary tools.Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure the highest quality of food plete opening/closing check lists.ExperiencePrevious experience in a dietary department, catering service, restaurant, or dining establishment is preferred.Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques.Proficiency in using knives and other kitchen equipment safely.Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.A passion for the food industry and a desire to grow within the culinary field.Join us as we create exceptional dining experiences through teamwork and culinary excellenceJob Type: Part-timePay: $ $17.00 per hourBenefits:Employee discountFlexible schedulePeople with a criminal record are encouraged to applyShift availability:Day Shift (Preferred)Night Shift (Preferred)Ability to Commute:Marthasville, MO Required)Work Location: In person
