We continue to grow and adapt as our customers' needs evolve.Please note: This role is intended for U.S.-based candidates to support alignment with our team's location and business needs.Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Technical Product Manager with a strong technical background to help shape the future of a new, greenfield AI-driven product currently in development. This role is ideal for someone who has transitioned from software development into product management and can effectively bridge technical possibilities with customer needs.You will own key product areas, define product strategy and roadmaps, and work closely with engineering, sales, and customer success teams to deliver solutions that drive measurable business value. The role requires a data-driven mindset, the ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps, and end-to-end ownership of outcomes.RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesDefine product strategy and roadmap for major features and capabilities of the new AI-driven productPartner with leadership to align product direction with strategic goalsConduct customer discovery and research to identify user needs and opportunitiesAnalyze usage data, customer feedback, and market insights to inform prioritizationTranslate customer needs and market opportunities into detailed requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and test coverageCollaborate with engineering teams (internal and/or external) to ensure successful deliveryAdvocate for the customer while balancing market, technical, and industry considerationsCoalesce diverse inputs into a coherent and executable product roadmapGiven your technical background, you will participate in architectural discussions, evaluate technical trade-offs, and contribute to build-versus-buy decisions. You will work closely with cloud infrastructure on AWS, making informed decisions related to scalability, performance, and cost optimization, while keeping customer outcomes at the center.What We're Looking For3+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of shipping successful B2B software products3+ years of hands-on software development experience, including writing production code and working within engineering teamsStrong understanding of the full software development lifecycleStrong AWS experience, including familiarity with core services, cloud architecture patterns, and infrastructure decision-makingAbility to engage deeply with engineers while translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholdersFamiliarity with AI and machine learning concepts and technologiesStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience conducting user research and translating insights into actionComfort with data-driven decision-making, prioritization frameworks, and stakeholder managementProven ability to manage a product throughout its lifecycleExperience developing product strategy and presenting recommendations to executive leadershipWillingness to roll up sleeves and take ownershipEducationMS or BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent preferredIdeal Domain KnowledgeAha or similar product management toolsFigma or similar design toolsJira or similar issue-tracking toolsGitLab or similar version control platformsShape Up development methodologyExperience with enterprise software, SaaS business models, or digital asset management systemsFamiliarity with API strategy and developer-focused productsExperience with search technologies and machine learning applicationsExperience with agile development methodologiesFamiliarity with product analytics toolsProject management experienceWork Environment & TravelThis position operates in a professional office environment in Portland and is a fully remote role with no travel required.Required Education and ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experienceCandidates are encouraged to apply even if they meet approximately 70% of the listed qualifications.
