Job Details Job Location: KT-Camp Paradise Valley - BURKESVILLE, KY 42717 Position Type: Seasonal Full Time Job Category: CampSchedule/Hours: Full-timeThis position is responsible for: Provides childcare services for the staff's children, including personal care, hygiene, learning and development activities, and specialized programs.Key Responsibilities:Provides care to staff children throughout the day, ensuring they have partaken of meals and maintain proper personal hygiene habits.   Maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of the childcare property.   Participates enthusiastically as a member of the camp staff team to deliver and supervise evening programs, special events, overnights, and other all-camp activities and camp functions.  Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:Ability to meet attendance requirements.  Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.Some physical requirements of the Camp Childcare position include endurance, such as climbing, standing, bending, stooping, and stretching.Eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity are essential for performing manipulative activities.Requires a normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate camper activities/programs, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Have a willingness to live in a camp setting and work irregular hours delivering a program at the available facility.  Operate in daily exposure to the sun, heat, and varying environmental conditions. Why Work for Us:Since 1907, The Salvation Army has been operating camp programs across the southeast region of the United States.
