HDPE Fittings Technician

Job Details Job Location: Manufacturing - Russell Springs, KY 42642Job Description:Neat Companies is searching for a HDPE Fittings Technician at our NuFlo manufacturing location.  The HDPE Fittings Technician is responsible for the production, inspection, and finishing of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) fittings used in corrugated pipe systems. This role involves operating fittings equipment, performing fusion or fabrication processes, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring all fittings meet dimensional and specification requirements.Duties:Operate fittings fabrication equipment including welders, fusion machines, saws, and finishing tools while reading and following work orders, prints, and specifications Set up, adjust, and monitor equipment to ensure proper fusion and fitment Trim, grind, and finish fittings to meet dimensional and appearance standards Inspect fittings for weld integrity, dimensional accuracy, and visual defects while verifying compliance with AASHTO, ASTM, or customer requirements Measure wall thickness, angles, lengths, and diameters while documenting inspection results and report non-conforming product Perform basic preventive maintenance and report mechanical or process issues Assist with changeovers and tooling setups Other duties as assignedRequirements:High school diploma or GED Manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred Mechanical aptitude with ability to read tape measures and calipers Ability to work independently and in a team Fusion welding experience Knowledge of AASHTO or ASTM standards Forklift or crane experience Stand for extended periods Lift up to 50 lbs Ability to perform repetitive motions Ability to work in an indoor manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, heat, and machinery while wearing required PPEBenefits:100% Employer Paid Anthem Health Insurance with Wellness Program participation $25K Employer Paid Life Insurance 401k With Employer Match Short- & Long-Term Disability Delta Vision & Dental Paid vacation and holidays Paid sick/personal time Paid bereavement days Employee Assistance Program Access to BluMine Health Clinic with NO Co-pay & NO Cost for many tests & initial prescriptions Strong job security Family oriented cultureJoin the Neat Team and apply todayAbsolutely No Phone Calls
