Job Title: Specialist, Clinical SalesReports To: VP, SalesPosition Location: RemoteFLSA Status (Exempt/Non-Exempt): ExemptPosition Summary:The Clinical Sales Specialist is responsible for expanding ZeptoMetrix's molecular controls and verification panel business with current and prospective clinical customers, including hospitals and reference labs. This role requires strong customer relationship skills, a strategic approach to market development, and close collaboration with internal marketing and technical teams.Key Responsibilities:Serve as the point of contact for ZeptoMetrix's molecular controls and panel products across clinical accounts.Identify and engage new hospital, reference lab, and clinical customers to increase sales of off-the-shelf (OTS) products.Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth within existing accounts.Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to gather Voice of Customer (VOC) feedback for future product development.Collaborate with marketing and web teams to design and execute promotional campaigns.Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, feedback, and opportunities.Provide regular sales activity reports to senior leadership.Represent ZeptoMetrix at industry conferences, meetings, and on-site customer visits.Demonstrate the ability to deliver results within deadlines.Demonstrate an understanding of the importance of ROI to the client.Grow customer base through independent customer contact and dual calling with other team members.Be able to identify market changes and communicate back to business leaders.Performs other duties as assigned.Education:Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field.Experience:3+ years' experience preferred in Sales, Marketing, or Business/Market Development.3+ years of experience in clinical or diagnostics sales, preferably in molecular diagnostics.Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:Strong network within the clinical community, including hospitals, reference labs, and clinical customers.Demonstrate a knowledge of the features and benefits of ZeptoMetrix products.Demonstrate a knowledge of sales techniques using effective questioning and objection handling.Confident user of Microsoft Office suite.Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.Exceptional eye for detail, time management & interpersonal skills.Desirable attributes: strategic commercial mindset, natural project manager, confident communicator, detail oriented, curious, and creative, problem solver, quick learner, adaptable.Some combination of technical/laboratory and business/commercial experience is highly-desired.Up to 50% domestic and/or international travel.Thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, efficiently works under pressure, within deadlines or other time essential constraints.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to clearly and concisely communicate to all levels of the organization.Strong work ethic and an ability to excel within a rapidly changing and growing pensation and Benefits:Salary Range: $100,000-$115,000, depending on location, experience, and qualifications.
