Sr. DevOps Engineer

Job Title: DevOps EngineerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer responsible for designing, deploying, and managing secure, scalable Azure cloud infrastructure and DevOps pipelines to ensure high availability, compliance, and operational efficiency.ResponsibilitiesArchitect and manage Azure resources, including Kubernetes clusters (AKS) and containerized services.Optimize performance and cost using monitoring tools.Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and ARM.Develop automation scripts in PowerShell and Python.Maintain CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and tegrate and support tools like GitLab/GitHub, SonarQube, Vault, and security scanning solutions.Ensure code quality and secure secrets management.Configure monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Splunk, and Datadog for proactive issue detection.Manage relational and non-relational databases and enterprise messaging systems like RabbitMQ.Enforce identity, access, and network security while conducting audits to maintain compliance with standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.Participate in agile processes.Stay current with Azure and DevOps trends, mentor team members, and identify automation opportunities.Develop and test backup and recovery strategies to ensure business continuity.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering with a focus on cloud environments.3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including deployment, management, and optimization of Azure resources.Proven experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines, particularly using Azure DevOps.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.Familiarity with tools like GitLab/GitHub, SonarQube, Vault, and security scanning solutions.Experience with monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor, Splunk, and Datadog.Knowledge of relational/non-relational databases and enterprise messaging systems like RabbitMQ.Understanding of security and compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.Work EnvironmentThe work environment operates like a small, close-knit company with the backing of a larger parent company.
