OverviewWe are seeking a compassionate and dedicated part-time Child Daycare provider to support the development and well-being of children in a nurturing environment. This role offers an opportunity to work closely with young children, fostering their growth through engaging activities and attentive care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Prior experience in classroom management, caregiving, or nannying is highly valued. This position emphasizes safety, patience, and excellent communication skills to create a positive and supportive atmosphere for children and their families.DutiesSupervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and developmentEnsure the safety and well-being of all children at all timesImplement daily routines including meal times, nap times, and playtimeAssist with potty training and hygiene practices as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environmentCommunicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and daily activitiesFollow all health and safety guidelines, including first aid procedures when necessarySupport children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing personalized care when requiredObserve and document developmental milestones and behavioral changesCollaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive caregiving approachSkillsExperience working with children across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolersKnowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practicesAbility to manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniquesFirst aid certification is preferred; CPR training is a plusExperience with special education or working with children with disabilities is advantageousStrong communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and team membersPatience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude toward children's individual needsClassroom management skills to create a safe, organized learning environmentExperience in caregiving roles such as babysitting or nannying is beneficialAbility to adapt activities for children with diverse needs and abilitiesThis part-time Child Daycare position offers an enriching environment where caring professionals can make a meaningful impact on children's lives while developing their own skills in early childhood education.Pay: $ $16.00 per hourExpected hours: 27.0 per weekWork Location: In person
