JOB OVERVIEW • Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Greensboro, NC • Service Setting: Inpatient/Outpatient • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Coverage Period: April 13, 2026 October 16, 2026 • Clinical Shift Schedule: Full-Time; 3x12, 4x10s, or 5x8s with flexibility requiredCOVERAGE DATES • Start Date: April 13, 2026 • End Date: October 16, 2026 • Contract Length: 13 weeks with full-time requirement of 4 5 shifts per weekPATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: All ages (no pediatric cases at Wesley Long) • Patient Volume/Census: Varies by site; Moses Cone averages 60+ cases per day • Case Mix: Broad surgical case mix including general, ortho, urology, GYN, vascular, thoracic, neuro, and traumaFACILITY INFORMATION • No. of Beds in Department: Multiple OR suites across facilities • Trauma Level: Level I and II services supported • EMR System: Epic • Office Equipment Available: Drager anesthesia machines and Philips monitoring at Moses Cone • Specialty Backup Available: Multispecialty surgical teams • Support Staff Available: Anesthesiologists, CRNAs, anesthesia techs, and nursing staff • Reason for Coverage: Supplemental float pool coveragePRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Credentialing Timeline: Approximately days • Name Clear Required: Name and NPI number prior to submissionCOMPENSATION & BENEFITS • Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: CoveredREQUIRED PROCEDURES • General anesthesia for inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures • Anesthesia support for NORA locations including IR, EP, Endoscopy, and MRIJOB REQUIREMENTS • Licenses: Active North Carolina CRNA license • Board: Board Certified CRNA • Certifications: ACLS and PALS required • Experience: Minimum 1 2 years of experience; no new graduates • Other Qualifications: Ability to float between Moses Cone Hospital, Wesley Long Hospital, and Moses Cone Surgery CenterDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide anesthesia services across multiple hospital locations • Support a wide range of surgical and diagnostic procedures • Maintain flexibility in scheduling and shift assignments • Collaborate with anesthesiology teams under medical direction • Document anesthesia care accurately in the EMR
