Job Summary and Responsibilities Hematology/Oncology Advanced Practice Provider Inpatient Position (Nurse Practitioner):St. Michael Cancer Center, part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team. In our ongoing effort to expand our exceptional care to regions in the Puget Sound, we are looking for a well-trained, collegial, caring Nurse Practitioner who is motivated to provide the best possible patient care in Silverdale, WA. Our ideal candidate will have at least one year of Nurse Practitioner inpatient experience in Hematology/Oncology.Expectations for inpatient APP position are as follows:8 hour shiftMonday Friday (flexibility if individual days off are needed)covering new consultations to oncology from ER and hospitalists, will be staffed with the oncology attending on call later that same dayfollow-up existing oncology inpatients, and will be staffed with the oncology attending for that patientexpected census of patients for the service, responsibilities may be split with the attending, if larger volumesCompensation Range: $134,475 $167,000 based on ARNP experience Job Requirements Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner programCurrent Washington State ARNP license or active license prior to startingPrior experience with EPIC a plus, but not requiredAbility to maintain positive working relationships with physicians, and hospital staff, patients and their familiesExcellent communication skills and professionalismStrong commitment to patient care team concept and privacy guidelinesAt least one year of Hematology/Oncology experience as an ARNP.
