Petite Edith is the newest restaurant from James Beard-nominated chef Jenner Tomaska & Katrina Bravo (the husband-wife duo behind Chicago's Michelin-starred Esmé). Located at the intersection of the River North and Gold Coast neighborhoods, Petite Edith just opened it's doors in early November. An elevated French bistro influenced by Midwest hospitality, the blends French technique with in an atmosphere local ingredients in a way that is unpretentious yet elegant. The Lead Host at Petite Edith is the first and lasting impression of our dining room. This role blends elevated hospitality with strong organizational skills and light leadership responsibilities. The Lead Host oversees the host stand, manages reservations & flow, supports the service team, and ensures every guest feels genuinely welcomed & cared for from arrival to departure. /This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a guest-facing role, has strong situational awareness, and enjoys being a calm, polished presence in a fast-paced environment. What we're looking for: 1+ years of hosting experience in an upscale casual or fine dining environment. Previous lead host or supervisory experience is strongly preferred. Familiarity with reservation platforms such as Resy or OpenTable What we're looking for: Ability to handle a busy service with grace & positivity Strong work ethic & attention to detail Friendly, professional & reliable team players Strong communication & hospitality skills Comfortable giving direction and feedback to peers Team-oriented with a service-first mindset Ability to work evenings & weekends is required.
