Job Details:Provide timely, accurate and friendly service while preparing the highest quality traditional espresso beverages for our guests. Job duties but not limited to: Take beverage orders from guests and servers. General upkeep of retail merchandise presentation and inventory organization. Prepare and serve coffee, cortado, americano, latte and cappuccino based on standard recipes. Recommends coffee flavor profiles to customers. Possess full knowledge in local roasters and tea offerings that we feature. Participate in a culture of innovation by contributing ideas for house and seasonal coffee and tea beverages. Learns the names and personally recognize our regular guests. Takes ownership the coffee bar and maintains cleanliness in all areas including counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, and storage areas. Taking care of our guests using our methods for delivering contagious hospitality.   The perfect candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications: Must have exceptional grooming habits. Comfortable working early morning hours a must. One year of past Barista experience is a must. Have working knowledge of traditional espresso beverages. Possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money and operate a point of sales system. Basic knowledge of 2-group espresso machine and commercial coffee maker. Works quickly and efficiently. Works well both independently and as a team member. Responsible and reliable. Outgoing friendly personality. Ability to work well under pressure. Ability and willingness to exceed guest expectations. Excellent multi-tasking and attention to detail. Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours). Able to lift 50 lbs.
