Great pay and benefits!This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity (not contract).ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborates with primary care providers and other health care providers to ensurecontinuity, timeliness and appropriateness of care to inmates Promotes culture of safety for patients and employees through proper identification,reporting documentation, and prevention Performs assessments of inmate patient in a variety of settings within the institution suchas: initial intake area, health care unit for sick, emergency situations on housing units,chronic care clinics, and medical unitsREQUIREMENTS: Active, unencumbered RN licensure in state of practice At least 1 year of RN experience BLS certification Previous correctional health care experience preferred but not requiredCOMPENSATION and SCHEDULE: Pay starting around $45 an hour plus shift diff for evening and night shifts. Pay rate can be considerably more depending on years of experience and skills Monday - Friday schedule, with occasional weekends (you get days off during the week if you work a weekend) 12 hour shifts (36 hours per week) with opportunity for extra shifts Great benefits!
