This contract role involves preparing patients and ORs, supporting surgical teams intraoperatively, and maintaining accurate documentation and compliance.Key responsibilities:Prepare the operating room, instruments, supplies, and patients for procedures.Monitor patient status throughout the perioperative process and administer medications as indicated.Function as circulating nurse and/or scrub, assisting surgeons and the multidisciplinary team during cases.Maintain accurate, timely documentation and adhere to facility protocols and regulatory standards.Provide patient/family education on preoperative and postoperative expectations.Requirements:Active RN license in practicing state.Perioperative/OR experience preferred.BLS required; CNOR certification preferred.Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and effective communication.Apply if you bring dependable perioperative skills, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to patient-centered surgical care.
