This contract role requires a licensed clinician who can perform thorough evaluations, design individualized plans of care, implement evidence-based interventions, and collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and therapists to achieve measurable patient outcomes.Required Credentials:Active Physical Therapy state licenseCPR and BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross, including AED)Key Responsibilities:Perform comprehensive evaluations, including medical history review and functional assessment, to determine patient needs.Develop and document individualized treatment plans with clear, measurable goals.Implement therapeutic interventions to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, coordination, mobility, and functional independence.Provide hands-on manual therapy (joint mobilization, soft tissue work, stretching) and apply modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as appropriate.Instruct and fit patients on assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs) and educate on safe use.Create and teach home exercise programs and provide education on body mechanics, ergonomics, injury prevention, and condition management for patients and families.Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans based on outcomes and clinical judgment.Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize patient recovery.Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and adhere to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards.Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and deliver care respectful of diverse patient backgrounds.Perform other duties as assigned by management.If you are a committed PT who values collaboration and measurable patient progress, this position offers a focused short-term opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
