Job ID: C-RN-We're looking for an experienced RN leader to join a Lanham, MD team on a 14-week contract (local, non-travel) starting ASAP. This role works a day shift schedule (07:00 AM-03:30 PM) and pays $2,360 per 40-hour week.What you'll bringActive, valid Registered Nurse license for the statePrior nursing leadership experienceCurrent BLS certificationWhat you'll doLead and support the nursing team (RNs, LPNs, CNAs) to ensure consistent, policy-driven care.Oversee direct patient care-assessments, medication administration, documentation-and update care plans as patient needs change.Help manage staffing and scheduling to maintain efficient, safe patient coverage.Coach and mentor staff, promoting ongoing professional development and best practices.Monitor quality and compliance, conduct audits, and drive improvements when needed.Serve as a communication hub to coordinate care across the healthcare team.Advocate for patients by addressing concerns and ensuring care remains patient-centered.Respond to clinical emergencies following established protocols.Ensure accurate and timely electronic health record documentation.Stay current on healthcare regulations and ensure team adherence.Perform other duties as assigned by management.If you're a hands-on nursing leader who enjoys mentoring teams and improving patient care, this is a great opportunity to make an immediate impact.
