About the Position This is a full-time clinical role within a mission-driven, community-based healthcare organization that provides comprehensive, patient-centered primary and women s health services to a diverse population in Marin County.Clinic Schedule:Monday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00 AM 7:00 PMTuesday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM1st & 3rd Wednesday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM2nd, 4th & 5th Wednesday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PMSaturday Sunday: ClosedExperience Requirements:Minimum 3+ years of hands-on primary care clinical experience (clinical rotations/clerkships do not count), orCompletion of a residency-style hands-on training program of 12 months or longerBilingual English/Spanish requiredFull-time availability Clinical Competencies & Responsibilities The provider will deliver comprehensive women s health and primary care services with a strong emphasis on culturally responsive, patient-centered care.Required Proficiencies Include:Taking a comprehensive sexual historyContraceptive counseling with consideration of underlying medical conditionsFamily history assessment relevant to women s healthEvaluation, Diagnosis, and Management of:Vaginitis and urinary tract infectionsSexually transmitted infectionsAbnormal uterine bleeding, PCOS, and uterine fibroidsPregnancy of unknown location, including ruling out ectopic pregnancyUrinary conditions (incontinence, overactive bladder, painful bladder syndrome)Chronic pelvic pain and endometriosisAdnexal masses, including ruling out ovarian torsionDyspareunia and sexual dysfunctionMenopause, vasomotor symptoms, and hormone therapyInfertility and pre-conception counselingBreast-related concernsPelvic organ prolapseProcedural Skills:Colposcopy and cervical biopsy, including endocervical curettageBasic suturingBasic post-operative care (suture/staple removal, wound dressing changes)Insertion and removal of indwelling cathetersWound care for cesarean section incisions and vulvar woundsPelvic ultrasound (transabdominal and transvaginal), including diagnosis of intrauterine pregnancy and IUD localization Practice Environment The position is based at a well-established, community-focused health center serving patients regardless of insurance status.
