Adelphi is seeking dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathologists to provide exceptional school-based services to students for a school district located in Johnston County, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will support students through evaluation, intervention, and collaboration with educational staff to meet Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals.Job Quick Facts: Reference #: BD-941-01 Profession: Allied Health Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist Location: Johnston County,North Carolina Facility Type: School Coverage type: On-Site Job Type: Contract Contract Duration: 1 year Schedule: 8 hours/day, 5 days/week (following school calendar) Start Date: June 2025 Compensation: $35-$45/hr.Requirements: Active or eligible North Carolina SLP license School-based experience preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills Reliable transportation and a valid driver'slicense Must be eligible and verifiable through the NC licensing database Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and staff Familiarity with IEP development and IDEA compliance Must maintain licensure through the NC Board of Examiners and provide proof of eligibility if requestedResponsibilities: Provide speech-language services aligned with student evaluations and IEP goals Conduct screenings, assessments, and prepare written evaluation reports Develop and contribute to IEPs, including progress updates and performance goals Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as needed Deliver direct and consultative services per IEP requirements Complete all documentation and Medicaid billing in accordance with district and state guidelines Offer consultation and training to school staff Attend required meetings and professional development sessions Ensure active licensure and credential compliance Adhere to state and DPI guidelines for school-based speech-language services
