Position Overview One of our Partners in Washington State is seeking a locum tenens Nurse Practitioner with Electrophysiology (EP) experience to support its Cardiology Clinic in Bellingham, Washington. Assignment Highlights Start Date: March 9, 2026End Date: September 5, 2026Duration: 26 weeksSchedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PMShift Length: 8 hoursCall: NoneSetting: Cardiology Clinic with inpatient and outpatient responsibilitiesPatient Population: AdultsAverage Volume: 14-16 patients per dayCoverage Model: Provider may work independently at timesEMR: EpicFacility Type: Outpatient clinic with hospital privilegesHospital Size: 250 bedsReason for Coverage: Gap in schedule / urgent fast-track need Job Responsibilities Provide advanced practice care for adult cardiology patients with a focus on electrophysiologyConduct outpatient clinic visits and support inpatient rounding and admissions as neededEvaluate, diagnose, and manage cardiac rhythm disordersReview diagnostics, labs, and cardiac studiesCollaborate with cardiologists and clinic staff to coordinate care plansPractice independently while collaborating with the cardiology teamMaintain accurate and timely documentation in Epic Skills & Experience Electrophysiology-focused cardiology experience requiredComfortable managing a full clinic schedule and practicing independentlyExperience in both outpatient cardiology clinics and inpatient settings preferred Qualifications Nurse Practitioner (ARNP)Board Certified in Cardiology and/or ElectrophysiologyActive Washington State license required (IMLC not accepted)DEA (Washington) required at time of presentationBLS and ACLS requiredClinical Experience Requirement:Minimum of 12 months of clinical practice within the ARNP area of specialization within the past five (5) years, orGraduation from an accredited program within the past twelve (12) months
