Position Overview:This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in an urgent care setting serving both adult and pediatric patients. You will be the sole provider responsible for delivering comprehensive urgent medical services, including minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigation. With a focus on patient-centered care, you will utilize Epic EMR to document visits and ensure smooth clinical workflows. The role requires proficiency in EPIC, excellent soft skills, and the ability to manage a diverse case load independently. Reporting to a supervising physician, you will contribute to a collaborative environment dedicated to quality and efficiency. Required Skills: Minimum of 12 months experience in urgent care, acute care, or emergency settingsBoard certification (BC / NCCPA for PA, Family NP Cert or equivalent for NP)Active BLS certificationProficiency with EPIC EMR systemAbility to see and treat all patients independentlyStrong interpersonal and communication skillsCapable of performing minor procedures such as I&D and lac repairsMust be able to work within a 65-mile radius of home residenceNice to Have Skills: Experience with pediatric patients (6 months and older)Additional procedural skills beyond core competenciesBilingual abilities for enhanced patient communicationPreferred Education and Experience: Graduate degree in Physician Assistant Studies or Family Nurse Practitioner ProgramAt least 12 months of recent urgent care or acute care experiencePrior experience with solo provider roles in urgent care settingsOther Requirements: Must be willing to work in Winston Salem, NCAvailability for clinical onboarding, EMR training, and initial solo shiftsNo travel reimbursement; mileage reimbursement onlySupport staff includes center manager, medical assistants, physician supervisors, and support personnelSupport within a 65-mile radius of your residenceCompensation and Benefits: Competitive hourly pay rate of $1.00 per hourWeekly pay schedule via direct depositComprehensive medical benefits (W-2 employment)Robust referral bonus programPaid sick leave in compliance with applicable lawsLicensure, certification, and travel reimbursements when applicable24/7 dedicated team committed to your success throughout your assignmentStart Date:Position begins on December 31, 2025, with flexible scheduling based on your availability.
