Join the highly skilled hospital medicine (HM) team at Chippenham Hospital in Richmond, Virginia, as our nocturnist lead advanced practice clinician. The lead advanced practice clinician (APC) will work with the facility medical director (FMD) and regional medical director (RMD)/vice president of operations (VPO) to ensure that APCs are utilized within the standards set by the state and medical staff guidelines and regulations. Qualifications EducationGraduation from an advanced registered nurse practitioner (NP) training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)Certification by American Academy of Nurse Practitioners or American Nurse Credentialing Center within one year of completion of the degree or graduation from a physician assistant (PA) training program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education and AccreditationCertification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)Current certification in ACLS and PALS, as specified per medical staff requirementExperiencePreferred minimum of three years experience as an APC in an inpatient settingPrefer previous leadership/management experienceMust be in the top quartile for metrics and documentation; if from outside, must meet these goals within 90 days; be an example for other APCs in accomplishing metricsApply today!California Applicant Privacy Act: Practice Highlights:Full-time block scheduleFull benefitsPTOTop compensationPaid professional liability insurance and tail coverageGrowth opportunities
