Orthopedics Nurse Practitioner

The city provides an excellent quality of life with its mild climate, extensive trail systems, and proximity to Denver.Facility:This is a 300-bed inpatient trauma center (Level I) serving adult and geriatric patient populations. The facility offers comprehensive orthopedic services with a collaborative team environment and advanced technology including the Epic EMR system.Opportunity:Nurse Practitioner - OrthopedicsJob Details:• Monday - Friday schedule from 7am-5pm for specific weeks in February and March 2026 • Provide orthopedic consults, patient rounding, and history & physicals • Assist with first assist duties as needed (not guaranteed) • Provide general support to the orthopedic surgeon on call • Work in an inpatient setting at a Level I trauma center • Complete required Epic EMR training before starting assignment • Must be AANP or ANCC Certified and/or NCCPA Certified • Active Colorado license or Compact RN license required • Active DEA required for the duration of the assignment • Active BLS certification highly preferred (must be willing to obtain prior to shift) • First assist experience/certification highly preferred but not required • Clean malpractice/background history required• Must be willing to travel to the assignment (local providers not accepted)Compensation:Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
