About Pulse Heart InstituteMultiCare's Pulse Heart Institute is a physician led institute with multi-specialty partnership with Cardiothoracic surgery, vascular and cardiovascular service lines. Our team and state-of-the-art programs create a world-class health care organization and the destination center for cardiac, thoracic, and vascular care with complex structural heart disease and interventions, advanced heart failure service as well as advanced imaging with cutting edge technologies.The addition of this position will allow the practice to build an inpatient Heart Failure program to allow for a consulting service to complement our established outpatient service. This position requires the ability to establish goals of care, collaborate with many health care team professionals, (e.g. Social work, Cardiac rehab staff, Palliative care team) and ability to manage decompensated heart failure (or volume overload) in the outpatient clinic setting and refer to the ED when necessary.As a provider within our physician governed cardiovascular institute, you'll find everything you need to excel in your job including outstanding facilities, comprehensive resources and talented teammates sharing your commitment to quality patient care.RequirementsMasters of Science in NursingPost Bachelor's Nurse Practitioner ProgramSuccessful completion of a Certified Nurse Practitioner Exam through an accredited organizationLicensed in the state of WA as an ARNP by the time of employmentDEA, NPI & prescriptive authorityCurrent BLS and ACLS for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart AssociationARNP Experience in a Heart Failure Program or two (2) years of experience in a cardiovascular settingWhy Choose Pulse? As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $124,831.00 - $166,995.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education.
