Required Skills: Minimum of 12 months of experience in urgent or acute care settingsBoard Certification: BC/NCCPA for PAs, NP Certification for Nurse PractitionersCurrent BLS certificationProficiency with EPIC EMR systemAbility to independently manage all patient cases within the urgent care scopeStrong soft skills for effective communication with patients and staffAbility to perform procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, ear irrigation, and other minor interventionsMust be able to see and treat both adult and pediatric patients (6 months and up)Comfortable working without supervision; no call requirementsNice to Have Skills: Experience with pediatric patients in urgent carePast experience working with EPIC EMR with training experienceProven ability to handle high patient volumes efficientlyAdditional certifications such as ACLS or PALSPreferred Education and Experience: Degree from an accredited program in Nursing or Physician Assistant StudiesAt least 1 year of urgent care experience preferred; new grads are not consideredOther Requirements: Must be willing to support multiple locations within a 65-mile radius of residenceCredentialing required; Medicare enrollment processed by the employerAvailability to start on or before December 31, 2025No travel or lodging reimbursement; mileage onlySupport staff includes Center Manager, Medical Assistants, Patient Service Associates, and supervising physicians (offsite for APPs)Shift details to be specified; schedule flexibility requiredMust successfully complete EMR training and onboarding before first solo shiftWe offer a competitive hourly rate of $1.00, along with comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage (W-2), paid sick leave, licensure and certification reimbursements, and a robust referral bonus program.
