Join our team as a Locum Nurse Practitioner specializing in Cardiovascular Surgery in Lansing, MI, and play a vital role in delivering exceptional care within a Level 1 Trauma Center. This opportunity offers a dynamic and rewarding environment where your expertise directly impacts patient outcomes and supports our dedicated cardiovascular surgical team. In this role, you will work a 4-day, 10-hour workweek, providing comprehensive patient care to a diverse caseload that includes ICU, surgical floors, and vascular services. You will be responsible for rounding and supporting both cardiac and vascular surgeons, with no OR responsibilities. The position involves managing an average of 15 patients daily, with higher volumes on weekends. You will participate in a rotating on-call schedule, being on call from home one week in four and covering one weekend per month, ensuring continuity of care for our critically ill patients. The role commences on February 1, 2026, due to a recent APP resignation, offering immediate engagement for qualified candidates.
