A health services network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a promising opportunity with their Urgent Care team in Queens. About the Opportunity:Specialty: Urgent Care Patient Population: All ages (mainly adults)Hours: 3 12-hour shifts per weekCall Schedule: Weekend rotationsResponsibilities:The Urgent Care NP will:Perform assessment and interventions for each patientParticipate in interdisciplinary committees that influence or determine policiesFollow facility procedures/protocols for admitting residents transferring to hospitals / clinics / outpatient visitsComplete appropriate documentation based on the established guidelinesAssist in defining, maintaining, and interpreting standards of practicePerform other duties, as neededQualifications:2+ years of experience in an Urgent Care role/settingBachelor's and/or Master's DegreeNYS Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Physician Assistant (PA) licenseSolid assessment, clinical, and documentation skillsPatient orientedGreat interpersonal skillsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Strong attention to detailHighly organized
