Job Opportunity: Locum Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Cardiovascular UMH Sparrow Lansing Main Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP), Nurse Practitioner (NP), to join their Cardiovascular Surgery team in beautiful Lansing, MI. This position features a flexible schedule with a 4-day, 10-hour workweek, and includes on-call responsibilities. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive care to cardiovascular surgery patients Round on patients in the CVICU, CVSU, and vascular departments Manage patient care independently, with support from a collaborative APP team Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled, including weekends Utilize Epic for patient documentation and electronic record management Qualifications: Board Certified in Advanced Practice Provider (REQUIRED) Experience in cardiovascular surgery or related field is highly preferred Proficient in acute patient management and care coordination Excellent communication and interpersonal skills License and Certification Requirements: Active State Medical License (Michigan) or NLC (PREFERRED) BLS & ACLS Certifications (REQUIRED) Clean malpractice and license history (HIGHLY PREFERRED) Copy of the NPDB self-query presented at time of orientation (REQUIRED)Join our team in Lansing, a vibrant city known for its rich history, cultural attractions, and beautiful parks.
