Surgery - General Nurse Practitioner

Coverage Needed: Start Date: February 1, 2026 End Date: May 31, 2026 Schedule: 4-day, 10-hour workweek On Call: 1 in 4 weeks, including one weekend per month Clinical Details: Trauma Level: Level 1 Trauma Center Average Number of Patients per Day: 15 patients per day on average (weekends tend to be higher) CVICU: 2-3 minimum/day, can be as many as 8 CVSU: 2-5/day, includes discharges Vascular: 4-10 between ICU and floors, most are on the floor Patient list on weekends: 15-30, solo coverage on weekends EMR: Epic Round and support CV team (cardiac and vascular surgeons) This rounder position would not have any OR responsibilities Call: first call from home Requirements: Board Certified in APP Active State Medical License (Michigan) or NLC - Preferred BLS & ACLS Certifications Clean Malpractice & License History - Highly Preferred Experience required Copy of the NPDB, self-query (within 30 days)
