Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

NextCare Urgent Care is seeking a part-time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to support our Spring, Texas clinics. This opportunity is ideal for providers looking for schedule flexibility while practicing in a fast-paced urgent care environment with strong clinical support. Position Overview Part-time urgent care positionCare for patients of all agesBroad clinical scope including acute illnesses and injuries, pediatrics, occupational medicine, X-rays, and lab servicesProviders practice independently while collaborating with a regional clinical leadership team Schedule & Shift Expectations Part-time positionMinimum of 4 shifts per monthShifts are typically 12 hoursSchedules coordinated in advanceOpportunity for additional shifts based on clinic needs and provider availabilityWeekend and holiday availability preferred Responsibilities Evaluate and treat patients following urgent care best practicesDeliver compassionate, patient-centered care aligned with NextCare valuesManage patient care from intake through dischargeDiagnose conditions and develop treatment plansClearly communicate care plans and follow-up instructionsAccurately document encounters in the electronic health record (EHR)Ensure appropriate coding and billingMaintain clinical productivity and professionalism Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Texas medical licenseActive DEA registrationNCCPA certification (PA) or ANCC/AANP certification (NP)Nurse Practitioners must be Family-certified (able to treat all age groups)Bachelor s degree (PA) or Master s degree (NP)Active BLS certificationStrong EHR proficiencyComfortable treating patients of all ages Preferred Qualifications 1+ year of urgent care, ER fast-track, or walk-in clinic experienceComfort with initial X-ray interpretationStrong procedural skills, including suturing and minor proceduresAbility to practice independently in a fast-paced environment Benefits Benefits for part-time providers vary based on scheduled hours and position401(k) eligibility for all employeesAdditional benefit details shared during the offer process Interested?
