Key Details Assignment Type: Locum Tenens Setting: Hospital and Outpatient Clinic Start Date: April 24, 2024 Schedule: Clinic 2-4 days/month, Surgical First Assist 10-12 days/month, Call 7-8 days/month (24-hour call on weekends and night call during the week post-clinical hours) Patient Population: Adult Location: Richland, WA Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits Weekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable) Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities Provide cardiovascular care in a hospital setting, including first assist in surgeries Engage in clinical hours with patient encounters averaging eight per shift Participate in inpatient rounding and callbacks during on-call duties Qualifications Board Certification in Cardiovascular specialty required Current certifications in ACLS and BLS Prior experience as a Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner Working Hours On-call 7-8 times per month, including 24-hour coverage on weekends Scheduled clinical and surgical days as outlined Skills Proficient in cardiovascular procedures and patient management Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team Strong communication skills and ability to respond effectively in critical situations
