Job Description:Dates of 2025 - OngingCoverage needed while they recruit for permInpatient, hospital-based setting with responsibilities for rounding, consults, and postoperative careNo OR/First Assist or procedural work requiredMust have a basic understanding of acute neurosurgical and stroke emergencies, ICU care, neurosurgical elective procedures, and postoperative managementCoverage includes 240 hours in a 6-week schedule with weekend shiftsHours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., in-house coverage requiredweekend covereage required if neededNo on-call dutiesExpected to see an average of 10 patients per dayEMR system used: eCare/CernerLevel 1 Trauma Center with Comprehensive Stroke designationAdvanced Practice Provider (APP) will work autonomouslySupervising physician available off-site, on-call 24/7No new graduates will be acceptedProcedures required: simple suture for minor laceration repairPatient demographics range from ages 0 to 99 Requirements Board Certified (ANCC, AANP or NCCPA) - REQUIREDActive MI license - REQUIREDClean Background- REQUIREDBLS, ENLS, NIHSS - REQUIREDMI addressed DEA (Verbal Confirmation) - REQUIREDLooking for 2-3 shifts a week or more- REQUIRED
