We're looking for a driven and experienced Litigation Attorney with a minimum of five years of civil litigation experience who is ready to bring their advocacy skills to education law as well as civil tort litigation. Why This Role MattersStudents deserve allies who will stand up for their rights in the face of injusticeYou will have the opportunity to handle meaningful cases involving suspensions, expulsions, discrimination, bullying, academic misconduct, and unfair academic practicesYou will also have the opportunity to handle serious litigation matters involving personal injury and business litigationYou will combine rigorous legal skill with purpose-driven advocacy, managing complex cases from start to finish while working in a supportive hybrid environment Compensation:$150,000 - $200,000 depending on experience Responsibilities:What You'll Do (Responsibilities)Advocate for clients in impactful education and civil litigation matters.Lead cases from intake through resolution, including client consultations, legal research, discovery, administrative hearings, drafting pleadings and motions, and court appearances.Craft innovative and strategic litigation approaches that align with each client's unique goals.Collaborate closely with a dedicated, compassionate legal team committed to excellence and meaningful impact. Qualifications:What We're Looking For (Qualifications)Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the California Bar.Minimum five years of experience in civil litigation.Strong experience with motion practice, depositions, hearings, and trials.Exceptional analytical, research, writing, and communication skills.A client-first mindset and a passion for justice and advocacy.
