We guide clients through the complexities of planning, design, and construction, resulting in better schedules, better buildings, and more value for every dollar.We are a 15-person firm entering our next phase of growth and are seeking a Business Development & Growth Manager to help strengthen how the firm operates day-to-day while expanding our external presence and pipeline.This is a manager-level, hands-on role ideal for an ambitious self-starter who wants to grow a business across multiple fronts: business development, marketing, people operations, and internal systems.You'll work closely with firm leadership and have real ownership over execution. We're looking for someone who brings structure, initiative, strong people instincts, and the ability to produce polished, client-ready materials.Role OverviewThe Business Development & Growth Manager supports AtW's growth by driving external-facing efforts while helping build and maintain the internal systems that enable the firm to scale thoughtfully. This role is best suited for someone who thrives in a small, collaborative environment and enjoys wearing multiple hats.What You'll OwnBusiness Development & External ProfileLead the production of proposals and interview materials, setting the standard for clarity, narrative, and presentation across all client-facing work.Manage AtW's external presence, including PR, social media, awards, events, and sponsorships (including support for the firm's 10-year anniversary).Support relationship-based business development with peer firms, partners, and prospective clients.Identify and implement tools that improve proposal production, internal reporting, and operational efficiency.Operations & GrowthCoordinate targeted hiring and onboarding efforts aligned with firm growth, within a stable, high-retention teamOwn core processes, including reviews, feedback tracking, and staff development coordination.Maintain internal systems and reporting related to time-off tracking, benefits coordination, staffing and utilization, expenses, and profitability metrics.What We're Looking For5+ years in business operations, professional services, or a similar small-firm environment where you've worn multiple hats.Strong experience producing polished, client-ready materials (proposals, interview decks, executive presentations).Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating independently with leadership support.Strong communication and judgment, with comfort representing the firm internally and pensation & BenefitsSalary Range: $95,000 - $115,000 (commensurate with experience)Health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with employer matchPaid time off and holidaysMUST SUBMIT A COVER LETTER AND RESUME TO BE CONSIDERED.
