Civil Structural Engineer

We are seeking a full-time, in-person Licensed Civil / Structural Engineer (PE) to join our internal development team and play a meaningful role in shaping commercial projects from the earliest stages.What You'll Do:Participate in site evaluation, feasibility studies, and highest-and-best-use analysisLead civil and structural concepts for commercial developmentsDevelop grading, drainage, detention, utilities, and structural concepts appropriate for Houston-area conditionsCoordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and municipalitiesLead permitting efforts and respond to agency commentsProvide constructability and cost-awareness input that directly influences development decisionsWhat We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required)Active Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license (required)Minimum 3 years of commercial construction or commercial development experienceStrong understanding of civil and structural systems for commercial projectsExperience navigating municipal permitting and plan review processesPractical, solutions-oriented mindset with sound engineering judgmentAbility to work full-time in an in-person, collaborative environmentExperience with City of Houston, Harris County, or surrounding jurisdictionsFamiliarity with Houston-area drainage, detention, floodplain, and utility coordination challengesExperience on redevelopment or constrained commercial sites
