VHS is urgently hiring an LPN to provide critical support in a residential detox setting in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will support safe nursing admissions, monitor clients continuously, administer medications, and document care accurately. This position requires a strong sense of confidentiality, professionalism, and teamwork, with a focus on delivering high-quality support during evening hours. Required Skills: Active NC LPN license or compact multistate licenseAHA BLS certification (required)Experience in behavioral health, detox, or long-term care (preferred)Dependability, teamwork, and excellent documentation skillsAbility to perform safety checks and de-escalation techniques as neededNice to Have Skills: CPI or crisis prevention trainingExperience with medication administration in behavioral health settingsPreferred Education and Experience: LPN licensure with relevant behavioral health or detox experiencePrior work in residential or long-term care environmentsOther Requirements: Availability to work evenings from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, including every other weekendBackground check, drug screening, TB screening or chest x-ray, and immunizationsPhysical exam and immunization recordsWillingness to participate in onboarding and training sessionsThis role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $31.00, weekly pay via direct deposit, and a unique opportunity to advance your nursing career in a high-impact environment with flexible scheduling.
