Ref #: C-PT-Location: Phillipsburg, NJType: Contract/TravelStart: ASAPDuration: 15 weeksSchedule: Sun-Sat, 08:00 AM-04:30 PMRate: Travel: $2,244 / 35 hrs; Local: $2,212 / 35 hrsRequired credentialsActive Physical Therapy state licenseCPR and BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross, with AED)Core responsibilitiesPerform comprehensive physical assessments and review medical history.Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to define patient needs and goals.Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans and measurable rehabilitation goals.Design and instruct exercise programs to improve strength, flexibility, endurance, coordination, and functional mobility.Deliver manual therapy (joint mobilization, soft tissue techniques, stretching) and select therapeutic modalities (ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold) as indicated.Evaluate and train patients in use of assistive devices (crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs).Provide patient and family education on diagnosis, treatment plan, home exercise programs, body mechanics, ergonomics, and injury prevention.Establish and adjust pain management strategies using exercises, modalities, and manual techniques.Facilitate functional independence following surgery, injury, or illness.Document assessments, treatments, progress notes, discharge summaries, and any changes in condition in accordance with facility policies.Maintain patient confidentiality, obtain informed consent, and adhere to legal and ethical standards.Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and respond to diverse patient needs.Perform other duties as assigned by managementDocumentation and communicationRecord patient progress toward goals and update treatment plans as needed.Communicate care plans and changes clearly with the interdisciplinary team.Note: Must meet facility onboarding and credentialing requirements.
