Description We are seeking a Traveling Audiologist to travel to Iowa to provide care at nursing homes for one week per month. We will assist you in obtaining licensure in Iowa. All travel expenses are reimbursed. You may have the opportunity for additional travel or other locations as we grow! Ultimately, you will ensure the accurate diagnosis and treatment of hearing conditions.Work-Life Balance that Works for You!Flexible Part-Time Opportunity1 week per monthNo Sales QuotaPatient-Centered CareResponsibilities:Providing hearing care to long-term residents in skilled nursing facilities including:Conduct otoscopic examsDiagnose and treat hearing loss using mobile audiology equipmentDispensing, programming, maintaining and repairing hearing aidsCerumen removalRecommend appropriate patient follow-up and care optionsDeliver outstanding customer service through all patient interactionsAttend clinics solo; responsible for all electronic progress note documentation and emailing completed notes to facilitiesDo what you do best, patient care!
