Family Practice/Primary Care Nurse Practitioner

Specialty accepted: Nurse PractitionerStart date or shifts: ASAP - (4 week contract w option to extend)Daily schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PMPractice setting: Occupational medicineTypes of procedures: First aid, wound care, splinting, eye irrigation, EKG interpretation, foreign body removal, Tdap administrationNumber of patients: Approximately 6 to 8 per day at one onsite location, 4 to 6 per day at a second onsite location, plus telehealth support as needed averaging 2 to 3 additional encountersAges: Adults 18 to 70Requirements: State license, DEA, CPR BLS, ACLS, at least one year of occupational health experience with preference for industrial or warehouse environment experienceAdditional information: Four week contract with option to extend. Minimum coverage required is five shifts. Support includes athletic trainers and EMT or paramedic coverage depending on shift needs. Scheduled paid lunch is provided. Physician oversight is available remotely. EMR experience is ideal but not required.
