The team values clear communication, strong organization, and long-term partnerships with both vendors and internal stakeholders.Job Description: Our client is seeking a Purchaser to support construction procurement and logistics. This contract role will partner closely with estimators, vendors, and field operations to ensure materials are accurately sourced, priced, and delivered to job sites.Key Responsibilities:Support procurement activities for construction projects, including large-scale materials for commercial and industrial buildsCollaborate with estimators who provide initial material specifications and data sheetsConfirm vendor pricing, availability, and lead timesCoordinate logistics related to delivery schedules, warehousing, and transportationCommunicate with foremen and drivers to ensure job sites are prepared for unloading and material storageTrack and document purchasing details, vendor communications, and delivery timelinesAssist with ordering a broad range of construction-related materials and equipmentMaintain strong working relationships with vendors and internal teamsQualifications:Previous experience in procurement or purchasing; construction experience strongly preferredHighly organized with strong attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage logistics and multiple moving parts simultaneouslyComfortable working with estimators, operations managers, and field personnelProactive, dependable, and professional approachAdditional Details:100% in office roleSchedule: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PMOccasional overtime may be requiredFast moving opportunityPerks:Opportunity to work in a collaborative, respectful team environmentExposure to large-scale construction projectsPotential for long-term employment and career growthAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
