Description:This position is PRN- mostly Saturday's but some during the week if needed. SUMMARYThe Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (MRI Tech) works under general supervision to perform diagnostic procedures for patients using an MRI Machine. Responsible for patient safety and the performance of high-quality MR studies. Ensures effective communication with customers, including radiologists as necessary. POSITION REQUIREMENTSResponsible for patient safety, including pre-screening for contra-indications, aspectic injection technique, etc.Produces high quality diagnostic images.Orders supplies and cleans the workspace.Effectively communicates with customers, doctors, and/or other staff members.Trains new MRI Techs and/or support staff.
