Surgery - General Nurse Practitioner

Vascular Surgery NP/PA Bronx, New York Position Overview A large, well-established multispecialty group in the Bronx is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support a growing vascular surgery and vascular medicine service line. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to work collaboratively with vascular surgeons in outpatient, inpatient, and procedural settings while managing patients with complex arterial and venous disease. Clinical Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient histories, physical examinations, and vascular assessmentsEvaluate and manage patients with vascular conditions, including:Peripheral arterial disease (PAD)Venous insufficiency and DVTCarotid artery diseaseAneurysmal diseaseChronic woundsOrder, review, and interpret diagnostic studies, including:Vascular ultrasoundABI/PVR studiesCTA/MRALaboratory testingAssist with pre-operative and post-operative care for vascular proceduresConduct hospital rounds and manage inpatient consults, as applicableDevelop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with vascular surgeonsPrescribe medications and adjust therapies in accordance with clinical protocolsProvide patient education on disease processes, procedures, and post-treatment careCoordinate care with referring providers, imaging, wound care, and ancillary servicesParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and service line growth effortsDocument all clinical encounters accurately and timely in the EMR Practice Setting & Schedule Multispecialty group practiceOutpatient clinics with inpatient and procedural exposure, as applicableMultiple practice locations throughout the Bronx Requirements Board-certified or board-eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantPrior experience in vascular surgery, vascular medicine, cardiology, or general surgeryExperience in outpatient vascular clinics and/or procedural settingsFamiliarity with EPIC or similar EMR systemsBLS and ACLS certificationBilingual Spanish is a plus, not required Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary: $140,000-$160,000 annuallyComprehensive benefits packageH-1B visa sponsorship available, if needed Organization Highlights Large multispecialty group with offices throughout the five boroughsOver 140 physicians and 100+ advanced practice providersEstablished infrastructure with strong specialty collaborationEasily accessible locations via public transportation Lifestyle Practice in the Bronx with access to all that New York City has to offerDiverse patient population and urban clinical experience
