Neonatology Nurse Practitioner

Job Opportunity: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Join a dedicated and caring team at a brand new, state-of-the-art 10-bed LDRP Level-I Nursery located at a prominent medical center in Belmont, North Carolina! This facility, CaroMont Regional Medical Center-Belmont, is set to open in late 2024 and will be well-equipped to handle approximately 600 deliveries annually, providing an ideal setting for an experienced full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to step into a leadership role. Job Responsibilities: Conduct daily rounds on newborns in-house and manage call from home. Attend deliveries upon request and provide immediate care to newborns. Stabilize, manage, and facilitate the transport of newborns requiring higher-level care to NICUs in Charlotte or Gastonia. Collaborate with a team of 4 Nurse Practitioners in a supportive environment, alongside a Level III NICU. Optional supplemental PRN shifts available at the Level III NICU, though not required. Qualifications: Nurse Practitioner with 2+ years of employment experience specifically as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP). Must possess a Master's Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing. Current National Specialty Certification as Board Certified NNP (no other NP certifications accepted). Recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) is required. DEA certification (must be obtained prior to start). NC license or willingness to obtain one is essential.
