This role combines hands-on clinical practice with meaningful leadership, mentorship, and administrative experience while working closely with facility and regional leadership.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced EM nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) who enjoys mentoring peers, collaborating on operations, and contributing to departmental decision-making, while continuing to practice clinically in a supportive, team-based environment.Position ProfileHybrid freestanding emergency department and urgent care model24/7 coverage with full diagnostic capabilities including lab, x-ray, and CTHigh-acuity urgent care and emergency medicine FSEDEpic EMRCollaborative physician and APC care modelStrong nursing and ancillary supportLead APC ResponsibilitiesProvide high-quality emergency and urgent care clinical coverage at Bremerton and Port OrchardServe as a clinical and professional resource for nurse practitioners and physician assistants across both facilitiesHelp lead, mentor, and support APC team members in clinical practice and professional developmentAssist with scheduling coordination and staffing collaborationWork closely with facility medical directors and regional leadership on operational initiatives, quality improvement, and departmental decision-makingParticipate in leadership discussions and support department goals and performance standardsQualificationsWashington state licensure as a PA/NPMinimum of two years of emergency medicine experience as an APC requiredStrong clinical judgment, communication skills, and leadership interestDesire to grow in administrative and leadership responsibilities while maintaining clinical practiceCompensationCompetitive compensation with an estimated base salary range of $80 to $100 per hour, based on experience, with the opportunity to earn additional bonus compensation. In addition, this lead APC role includes a $2,000 monthly leadership stipend, paid in accordance with applicable law and compensation policies.Bremerton and Port Orchard, WashingtonBremerton and Port Orchard, Washington, are waterfront communities on the Kitsap Peninsula offering an excellent quality of life in the Pacific Northwest.
