Position: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Level IV NICULocation: Los Angeles, CAEmployment Type: Full-Time W2 Non-Union Day & Night ShiftsSalary: $150,000 $240,000 annually (based on experience) Relocation Assistance Available (up to $10,000)About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) within a large academic medical center. This is a high-acuity, fast-paced environment caring for the most critically ill neonates, including extreme prematurity, congenital anomalies, cardiac, and surgical cases.This role is ideal for NNPs who thrive in complex clinical settings, enjoy high-risk deliveries, and want to practice at the top of their license alongside an experienced multidisciplinary neonatal team.Schedule (Hard Requirement)1 Day Shift: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM2 Night Shifts: 4:00 PM 8:00 AM (16-hour shifts)Unit HighlightsLevel IV NICU45 licensed bedsApproximately 7,000 births annuallyDedicated neonatal transport team24/7 in-house neonatology coverageAdvanced technology including ECMO and high-frequency ventilationKey ResponsibilitiesProvide advanced care to critically ill neonates ( Attend and lead high-risk deliveries, neonatal resuscitation, stabilization, and transfer to NICUPerform advanced procedures including intubation, umbilical lines, chest tubes, lumbar punctures, and PICC linesManage complex ventilator strategies, nitric oxide, and ECMO supportConduct daily rounds, diagnostics, and treatment planningCollaborate with neonatologists, surgeons, subspecialists, and nursing staffSupport and educate families through complex care journeysRequired Qualifications:Education & LicensureMaster of Nursing DegreeGraduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program approved by the California Board of Registered NursingActive (or eligible) California RN & Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) licenseFurnishing LicenseNational Nurse Practitioner CertificationDEA License (Schedules II V) may be obtained during credentialingCurrent BLS & PALS (PALS may be completed post-offer)Experience1+ year experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, preferably in NICU3+ years of RN experienceExperience with inpatient neonatal care and high-risk deliveriesCompensation & Perks$150,000 $240,000 salary range, strictly experience-basedHigher compensation available for candidates with extensive NICU RN or NNP experienceRelocation reimbursement up to $10,000Support for required license and certification renewals
