Electrical EstimatorAbout Us:Highland Consulting Group is a national executive search firm specializing in recruiting top-tier construction talent. With over 75 years of industry experience, we pride ourselves on placing the right professionals in the right roles for our clients, ensuring long-term success for both candidates and employers.Position Overview:We are working with a large Industrial Electrical contractor in the Pittsburgh, PA area to find an experienced Electrical Estimator. Our client is a well established contractor has a large backlog of work. Their construction experience includes a large mix of industrial projects.They need a well-qualified Electrical Estimator with the ability to analyze material, equipment, and labor cost.Key Responsibilities:Create & revise project scope of work for specific projectsMaintain the estimating software databaseDevelopment of master budgets and cost models for electrical projectsProvide conceptual and hard bid estimates that include all material, labor, equipment costReviews and comments on estimates provided by othersProvide independent estimates of change ordersDevelop preconstruction cost estimatesConduct site visits to access site conditions if requiredAnalyze project documents to identify potential risks and opportunities for cost savingsQualifications:A solid work history of Industrial Electrical EstimatingSolid Communication skills both verbal and writtenAbility to establish timelines and budgetsAbility to multi-taskSolid proven and verifiable record of career stability and estimating success is a mustMust have the ability to create conceptual bids for Design / Build projects.Experience: 3 years experience as a Electrical Estimator with projects larger than 1 million dollarsCandidates with experience managing a team of Estimators will be strongly consideredPossess analytical skills with the ability to assess complex data sets related to pricingStrong understanding of construction management principles and practicesA four-year degree is preferredBenefits:Our client is deeply committed to the well-being of their employees and their families.
