Position Summary:The Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing the entire construction process from start to finish. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive construction knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple crews simultaneously while ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality. The Project Manager will work closely with project superintendents, field supervisors, and subcontractors to maintain smooth project execution, enforce safety protocols, and ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & ExecutionAttend a Pre-Construction meeting with the Sr. Project Manager before project commencement to review:Plans, rough openings, shear walls, floor and truss layouts, and detailsLabor purchase ordersMaterial delivery schedules and equipmentAttend a Pre-Construction meeting with the Sr. PM and the subcontractor foreman to assign scopes of work, release purchase orders, and obtain contract signaturesCreate bills for subcontractor draws, paid for work completedVerify wall layouts for subcontractors to ensure precision and accuracyMark punch-out lists for subcontractors and ensure all discrepancies are corrected before final inspectionsConduct weekly Toolbox Talks & Project Pulse meetingsConduct Quality Control Walks as project progresses, ensuring all subcontractors meet quality standardsSite Oversight & SupervisionEnsure proper equipment and tools are available and onsite for project completionMonitor construction progress and enforce adherence to schedules, identifying, and addressing potential delays proactivelyMaintain a clean and organized job site, enforcing cleanliness among subcontractorsImplement and uphold Supreme Builders' safety policies, ensuring all workers wear the necessary protective gearQuality Control & ComplianceConduct routine inspections to ensure all work meets building codes, safety regulations, and project specificationsMaintain a strong attention to detail, verifying critical elementsAttend all job site trade meetings for the duration of the projectCommunication & DocumentationMaintain clear and consistent communication with project stakeholders, including project superintendents, field supervisors, and subcontractorsKeep detailed records of site activities, including:Daily LogsDelivery SchedulesPhotos and documentation of potential issues or disputesReport project updates, challenges, and necessary adjustments to managementResource & Time ManagementVerify material deliveries match order specificationsOversee material management, ensuring deliveries are received on schedule and stored securelyTrack additional work required by the General Contractor, ensuring proper timekeeping and documentation of changesSubmitting change order scopes of work to Sr. PM for approvalAssist in cost-saving measures by ensuring proper use of materials and fuel, tracking rental equipment return dates, and limiting the amount of reworkCollaboration & LeadershipFoster a team-oriented environment where all members, including subcontractors, collaborate effectivelyEnsure accountability by holding team members responsible for assigned tasksStrong leadership and team-building skills to foster a productive work environmentQualifications & Skills:5+ years of experience in construction supervision or site managementExtensive knowledge of construction principles, building codes, regulations and safety standardsMastered ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and construction plans preciselyStrong leadership and organizational skills to manage multiple projects efficientlyExcellent communication skills to work with clients, project managers, subcontractors, and field teamsCritical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address challenges proactivelyFinancial acumen to assist in budget management, cost controls, and resource allocationStrong work ethic, dedication, and adaptability to handle the demands of construction projectsProven experience in multifamily construction requiredPreferred fluency in the English and Spanish languages (not required)Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
