Operations Manager - Mechanical ConstructionWe're seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead and scale day-to-day operations across mechanical, plumbing, and process contracting projects. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, financial performance, safety, and team development from project award through closeout.The ideal candidate brings deep experience in mechanical construction, a proven ability to lead high-performing teams, and a strategic mindset for managing complex, fast-paced project environments.What You'll DoProvide executive-level oversight of all active projects, ensuring schedules, budgets, quality, and safety standards are consistently metLead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, field leaders, and key operational staffPartner with senior leadership to develop annual business plans, budgets, and operational strategiesOversee labor, material, and resource planning to drive efficiency and profitabilityReview work-in-progress (WIP), financial forecasts, and project performance metricsManage change orders, pricing approvals, and risk mitigation effortsChampion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable regulationsMaintain clear communication with internal teams, clients, and trade partnersWhat We're Looking ForLeadership experience within mechanical contracting, construction, or related tradesStrong operational and financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost controlsDeep knowledge of mechanical systems, construction workflows, and safety standardsProven ability to lead, coach, and build high-performing teamsComfortable managing multiple complex projects in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with project management and financial reporting toolsAbility to interpret construction drawings, contracts, and financial statementsEducationBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferredMBA or advanced business education is a plus (equivalent experience considered)
