Regional Student Housing Director

A well-established real estate firm is seeking a Regional Student Housing Director to join the multifamily team in Houston, Texas or Dallas, Texas.The Regional Student Housing Director will have a portfolio consisting of student housing and active adult properties.Responsibilities:Provide leadership and support to a region of on-site team membersConduct monthly on-site inspections of properties within designated regionConsult and mentor on-site managers to analyze specific opportunities for improvement, provide solutions, and monitor outcomesWork diligently with Community Managers in preparation of annual operation budgetsMonitor budget controlComplete monthly financial review to ensure operational and financial goals are metMonitor property maintenance issues and recommend capital improvements as needed to maintain community market positionQualification and Skills:2+ years experience as a Regional Supervisor in the Multifamily Industry is requiredExperience with Student Housing and/or Active Adult propertiesBachelor's degree preferred but not requiredProficient in the following programs: RealPage/Onesite, Entrata, Microsoft Excel and WordExcellent interpersonal skills - effective verbal and written communication skillsStrong leadership skills
