Position Title: Executive Pastry Sous Chef, Atelier and Bar Crenn Reports to: Executive Chef Secondary Report : Chef de Cuisine Effective Date : February 5, 2026 Salary Range: $80-$90K Benefits : Unlimited PTO, 401K, Heath/Dental/Vision insurance, Dining Discounts, Wellness/Education/Uniform Benefits MAIN ROLE The Executive Pastry Sous Chef at Atelier Crenn plays a key leadership role in the daily execution of the pastry program, supporting kitchen operations at our three Michelin star restaurant. This position works closely with the Chef de Cuisine and culinary leadership to guide and mentor the pastry team, ensure consistency and quality across all preparations, and uphold the highest standards of food safety, organization, and execution. The role is hands on, operationally focused, and integral to service, events, and ongoing collaboration with service and management teams. Key Responsibilities Support day-to-day pastry kitchen operations, including prep, service, and production Work with culinary leadership to organize and mentor pastry cooks, ensuring clarity, accountability, and high standards Maintain recipe accuracy, quality control, and allergy compliance Ensure food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance at all times Oversee ordering, inventory control, waste management, and labor Assist with monthly inventories and food cost tracking Act as a pastry point person for buyouts and special events Collaborate closely with service leadership to ensure smooth daily operations Participate in weekly management meetings and operational planning Qualifications 3+ years experience in Michelin level pastry programs. 2+ years experience as Pastry Sous Chef or similar leadership role in a fine-dining restaurant environment Knowledge of elevated pastry techniques and chocolate, a plus.
