What You ll Do: Deliver specialized physical therapy assistance to patients recovering from illnesses or surgeries in a fast-paced acute care environment.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.Assist with patient assessments, therapeutic exercises, and mobility training to promote recovery and improve functional outcomes.Chart patient progress accurately using Cerner charting system.Work scheduled shifts Monday through Friday, with at least one weekend per month and work during major holidays as required.Required Skills: Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant in an acute care setting.Current BLS certification (CPR).Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and manage a diverse caseload.Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.Capable of assisting in patient assessments and documentation.Nice to Have Skills: Experience with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems.Additional certifications in rehabilitation techniques or specialties.Flexibility to adapt to a variety of shift schedules and patient needs.Preferred Education and Experience: Valid in-state PTA license and applicable certifications.At least one year of experience in a hospital or acute care setting.Other Requirements: Ability to work 8-hour shifts from 08:00 to 16:30.Willingness to work 2-3 major holidays per year.No travel required; work is in localized hospital environments.In-state licensing and current certifications required for submission; pending licenses are not accepted.Scrub color is royal blue; black shoes are recommended.This position offers competitive hourly pay of $41.10, weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits, paid sick leave, and a robust referral bonus program.
