What You'll Bring: Current Nurse Practitioner license with surgical or cardiac experienceStrong clinical skills in pre and post-operative careAbility to assist with surgeries, urgent procedures, and patient managementProficiency in ICU & step-down managementCompetence with electronic medical records, preferably EPICExcellent communication and teamwork skillsNice to Have: Prior experience in cardiothoracic or thoracic surgeryFamiliarity with robotic-assisted thoracic surgeries and minimally invasive proceduresExperience with endoscopic vein or radial artery harvestKnowledge of ICU protocols and emergent proceduresPreferred Education and Experience: Master s degree in Nursing from an accredited programMinimum of 2 years of relevant surgical or cardiothoracic practicePrior locum or temporary assignment experience is advantageousOther Requirements: Credentialing completed within 10 days of start dateWillingness to work variable hours, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends as scheduledAvailability from February 7, 2026, to provide full-time coverageAbility to carry a pager and respond promptly during on-call shiftsThis position offers an hourly pay rate of $0.00, plus comprehensive benefits including weekly pay via direct deposit, medical coverage, referral bonuses, paid sick time, and travel reimbursements when applicable.
